World Learning-Tunisia seeks a Social Media and Online Community Specialist to support the Leadership Development Fellowship (LDF Fellowship) in Tunisia and across the MENA region. The LDF Fellowship is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and implemented by World Learning.

The Fellowship engages emerging leaders across sectors in the Middle East and North Africa in a one-year application-based leadership development fellowship. The goal is to advance civic engagement and social entrepreneurship by providing skills, resources, and support networks to analyze complex challenges, re-examine interventions, and seek inventive ways to make positive social and economic changes in local communities.

The Social Media and Online Community Specialist role includes but is not limited to writing content for World Learning’s social media channels and creating and editing videos about the LDF Fellowship in addition to working with World Learning communications and marketing team to create content to be used on other platforms, including, but not limited to, the WL website and blog.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·        Hands-on experience in social media management

·        Strong audio-visual content creation skills

·        Familiarity with technology and marketing

·        Creativity, autonomy, and ability to take the initiative

·        Flexibility and availability in work

·        Good organizational, planning, and coordination skills

·        Strong interpersonal skills
