Search for Common Ground (SFCG) is an international non-profit organization that promotes peaceful resolution of conflict. With headquarters in Washington, DC and a European office in Brussels, Belgium, SFCG’s mission is to transform how individuals, organizations, and governments deal with conflict – away from adversarial approaches and toward cooperative solutions. SFCG seeks to help conflicting parties understand their differences and act on their commonalities. Search for Common Ground seeks a professional, motivated, and creative intern to join the Tunisia team. Based in Tunis, Tunisia, the intern will provide support to SFCG’s Tunisia country office. Duties of this internship will contribute to the development of programs for sustainable peace and conflict transformation in the MENA region, and will give interns an opportunity to practice high-level, professional skills. There is a $300 per month stipend.
Interns must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) and must commit for 4 months minimum and may be asked to stay for a maximum of 6 months, pending a mid-term review. We are looking for an intern to begin as soon as possible, preferably by 15 September 2016.
Assisting with grant proposal development for country and regional programs.
Performing other supportive duties as needed.
This position provides a $300 per month stipend.
