We are searching for…

A professional, motivated, and creative Program Associate to join the Tunisia team. The Program Associate will provide support to Search’s activities under the Ma3an project. The Program Associate is a member of the Search Ma3an team and will work to support the Ma3an project in terms of grants management, reporting, project-related communications, and program implementation. The position holder will work closely with Search Ma3an team members and other staff based in Tunisia and in Washington D.C. The position reports to the Team Leader. This opening is for a full-time position and is available immediately.

More about the Ma3an program: the Ma3an program aims to increase the capacity of communities to withstand political, social, and economic stresses and shocks by achieving the objectives of 1) strengthened community resilience, 2) mitigated community vulnerabilities, and 3) improve the capacity of Tunisian partners to sustain and replicate the model. Ma3an will spur 30 of Tunisia’s most vulnerable communities to action and generate sustainable resources for development in areas that are vulnerable to instability. Together with USAID/Tunisia’s programs in accountability, decentralization, and youth entrepreneurship (i.e., TADAEEM and Mashrou3i), Ma3an will consolidate democratic progress while fostering social cohesion in target areas.
