Purpose: 

The MEL Reporting Officer will support the MEL Specialist in overseeing the MEL  system, to measure the progress and accomplishments of the FAST project against  established indicators and meet client requirements for reporting on indicators and  other performance data. 

Responsibilities and Key Tasks: 

• Assist the MEL specialist in the development/improvement of tools for monitoring and tracking of program activities and results.
• Coordinate with project componentsto gather and collect accurate data for reporting purposes.
• Ensure data quality in coordination with the MEL teamby conducting regular DQAs.
• • Consolidate and analyze data on activities progress and indicators in order to be used for the preparation of periodic reports.
• Draft and deliver regular monitoring updates and success stories when major  achievements merit. 
• draft the project deliverables, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and  annual reports in compliance with USAID requirements. 
• Other duties as requested by the MEL Specialist and project management.
• • The knowledge of the Microsoft Project tool is an asset.

Job Qualifications: 

• Advanced University degree in relevant fields (Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Economics…) .
• 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation reporting.
• • Experience in USAID projectsis preferred.
• Good level of written skills in English.
• Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
