Position: Intern

Voluntas Policy Advisory is a consultancy company driven by creating strategies with a purpose beyond profit and developing policies for sustainable impact. Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct desk research
  • Support data collection processes (conduct interviews, facilitate discussions etc.)
  • Work on quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations
  • Draft reports in MS Word format
  • Support project implementation (for example, research and evaluation assignments on gender, migration, governance, healthcare sector etc…)
  • Write reports and proposals for future projects
  • Support internal strategy processes

We work extensively in North Africa and the Middle East and our clients include UN agencies (e.g., UNDP, UN Women, & UNFPA, international NGOs, major donors, and private companies. Most of our current projects focus on Libya, Sudan, and Tunisia.

Critères d'éligibilité

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s or License degree; higher academic qualifications (e.g., Master’s degree) are encouraged
  • Strong academic record in political science, law, economics, international development, strategy, or other relevant fields
  • Interest in international issues and focus areas of democratic governance, transitional and peace processes, public health, employment, entrepreneurship, gender, and human rights
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are required; Arabic and/or French skills are a strong asset
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • International experience is a strong asset
  • Intellectual curiosity and inquisitiveness
  • High level of personal accountability and strong work ethic
