Assignment:
the REACH Project Officer is responsible for supporting the Tunis based REACH teams in supervising the REACH teams in Libya in carrying out data collection for REACH assessments, supporting data cleaning and analysis and ensuring work plans for Data Collectors are respected. Together with the assessment team, The REACH project officer is also in charge of providing analysis, and contextualizing findings related to REACH data collection. The REACH Project Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient communication between Tunis and Libya teams and training new Project Assistants. The REACH Officer also acts as a point of contact for the teams of Data Collectors in the field. Fulfilling other duties when requested by the Assessment Manager.

Functions
The REACH Project Officer is responsible for completing the following tasks:
Planning and supervising:
- According to the project work plan, supervising and liaising with Libya based field teams and enumerators regarding their daily activities.
- Recruiting and mobilising field teams for data collection.
- Communicate with REACH Libya based teams on a daily basis and relaying their requests to REACH Tunis based teams.
- Monitoring the planned activities, making sure they are executed and following up with any additional planning of activities.
- Supporting the data collectors with daily work plans and communicating to them relevant information from the Senior Field Coordinator or other staff.
- Liaising with the Logistics department and ensuring that procedures relating to data collection are respected and all necessary documents are provided and signed.
Remote supervision of Data collection and support to project leads:
- Maintaining and update contact lists and relevant information for key local actors.
- Monitoring remotely the data collection in the field and check it is collected with quality (for example, interview technique, methodology of assessment is followed).
- Reporting any security incidents as soon as possible to the line manager and project leads.
- Providing additional support as required relating to the implementation of activities (trainings, translation, etc.).
Analysis of data and contextual information on Libya:
- Supporting the assessment team in cleaning and analysing data and providing contextual information to the data collected in Libya
- Monitoring and communicating on the humanitarian situation in Libya, including suggestions for developing coverage.
- Contributing to news monitoring and providing regular contextual updates on the situation in Libya.
