Assignment:
the REACH Project Officer is responsible for supporting Tunis based REACH teams in carrying out REACH assessments in Libya. The Project Officer will play an integral role in translating data collection tools, coordination materials, outputs, dissemination emails, and meetings. Together with the assessment team, REACH Project Officer is also in charge of translating the training materials, delivering the training online in Arabic (standard) and English language. REACH Project Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient communication between Tunis and Libya teams. REACH Project Officer also acts as a focal point on all day to day administrative work with the HR and Log department and support the Operations manager in planning and supervising projects.

Functions
The REACH Project Officer is responsible for completing the following tasks:
Translation 60%:
- The project officer will be the focal point on translating all training materials and tools from English to Arabic
- The project Officer will be in charge of translating the training materials and delivering the training online to enumerators, field staff and data collectors in the Arabic language standard.
- The projects officer will also be the focal point on translating the data from Arabic to English and conduct the daily check
- Supporting the assessment team in cleaning and translating the data and providing feedback on the quality and how to improve it.
- The project officer will engage in translating reports, factsheets, and other outputs
- The project officer will support teams in translations during meetings
Planning and supervising 10%:
- According to the project work plan, supervising and liaising with Libya based field teams and enumerators regarding their daily activities and reporting back to the Operations manager.
- Monitoring the planned activities, making sure they are executed and following up with any additional planning of activities.
- Supporting the data collectors with daily work plans and communicating to them relevant information from the Senior Field Coordinator or other staff.
Remote supervision of Data collection and support to project leads 10% :
- Maintaining and update contact lists and relevant information for key local actors.
- Monitoring remotely the data collection in the field and check it is collected with quality (for example, interview technique, methodology of assessment is followed).
- Providing additional support as required relating to the implementation of activities (trainings, translation, etc.).
Admin and logistics 20% :
- Liaising with HR department on all admin related matters for national and international staff
- Work closely with logistics department to follow up on procurements and submit procurement requests
- Liaising with the Logistics department and ensuring that procedures relating to data collection are respected and all necessary documents are provided and signed.
