Background

TADAEEM project is implementing USAID’s Tunisia Accountability, Decentralization and Effective Municipalities. This 4-year governance project aims to help the Government of Tunisia decentralize governance to the institutions closest to its citizenry and continue to strengthen its nascent democracy. The project, alongside a team of subcontractors, will work to enhance citizen participation in the process of governance as well as the government’s capacity to deliver the services that citizens prioritize. The project team will work in 11 provinces, 31 adjacent municipalities, and with the central government in Tunis to ultimately strengthen the ecosystem of stakeholders and institutions across the country.

Objectives

The Web & SharePoint Developer may be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining SharePoint environments and Microsoft SQL Server databases, as well as creating and designing different websites.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks;
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas;
• Design, develop, test, and deploy SharePoint-based applications and workflows based on business requirements;
• Develop mobile native and hybrid applications for Android and iOS;
• Develop and implementing mobile applications and mobile UI/UX;
• Write and edit content of TADAEEM’s online platforms under the direction of MEL Communications;
• DesignTADAEEM and partner’s websiteand train the team on the use of site tools;
• Provide training to TADAEEM staff and partners on web design, maintenance and strategy, including developing user guides and job aids;
• Create products that are user-friendly, effective and appealing;
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies;
• Daily Media Monitoring report support and back-up; and
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor or project leadership.

Reporting Requirements

The Web and SharePoint Developer will report to the IT Manager and the MEL Manager, as needed.
