Context : 

The MEPI Alumni Connection supports community leaders from across the Middle East and North Africa to strengthen their networks, collaborate on leadership initiatives, and develop their skills in order to contribute to their communities. Through activities such as organizing networking and collaborative events, implementing community initiatives, and connecting with mentors and like-minded professionals, alumni of US-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) programs deepen their ability to create bridges between communities and contribute to a more viable future. The program will be implemented by World Learning and will be supported by two partners TAMSS in Tunisia and Arcenciel in Lebanon.

Programme : 

Our program is in partnership with World Learning, which works globally to enhance the capacity and commitment of individuals, institutions, and communities to create a more peaceful, and just world through education, sustainable development, and exchange and funded by MEPI.

TAMSS will be in charge of training supporting and coaching MEPI Alumni in creating and consolidating social enterprises across the MENA region among other networking and connecting activities.

TAMSS :

The Tunisian Association for Management and Social Stability, TAMSS, active in the field for more than 17 years, is an association that contributes to the regional development of Tunisia through the economic and social integration of women and young people by strengthening their intellectual, managerial and financial autonomy as well as their active participation as citizens.

Mission :

The TAMSS association is looking for a project manager.

Under the responsibility of the executive director, the director of operations and the director of the Entrepreneurship department, the project manager will be a part of overall program implementation including planning, designing, organizing and implementing a MEPI alumni engagement, development and outreach program activities that takes place in the MENA region.

• Ensure the functional management of the project team
• Participate in the definition of the strategic and operational orientations of the project
• Animate the work within the project team to ensure the proper operational implementation of the project’s strategic orientations as defined in the action plan
• Supervise the implementation of activity plans and ensure their proper execution by the project team
• Supervise the planning, organization and implementation of activities with regular trips to the regions in collaboration with the project management team.
• Ensure contact and relations with project partners and ensure their involvement;
• Elaborate the narrative reports of the project.
• Contribute to the establishment of a database containing actors, trainers and partners.
• Ensure the achievement of project objectives according to the indicators set and the expected results.
• Ensure compliance with contractual clauses in terms of deadlines and deliverables vis-à-vis service providers.

Critères d’éligibilité :

• Education: Masters in Management, Entrepreneurship, International Development or other relevant discipline
• Knowledge of social and solidarity entrepreneurship
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Mastery of the English language
• Excellent writing skills
• Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills
• Analytical and interpretive skills
• Rigor, adaptability and dynamism
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
• Mastery of the Office Pack (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
