TITLE: Programme Coordinator (Tunisian National preferred) 

DURATION: This is a full time position for 16 months. Can be extended based on performance and programme extension. Must be available to begin by August 17th, 2020. 

CONTEXT:

GAME is one of the fastest growing NGOs in Scandinavia, recently voted in the top 150 globally while operating in 10 countries. We focus on Youth Empowerment and Social Change through street sports and culture. GAME has begun its multi-year programme in Tunisia and is launching activities from September 2020. We require a dynamic Programme Coordinator to get the ball rolling with support from our local partners and GAME HQ in Copenhagen.  This Senior position reports directly to the Country Director and is for a Tunisian who is passionate about creating social change through sports, culture and working with young leaders. You should be a hands-on manager committed to the spirit of volunteerism, with a fervent belief in the youth of Tunisia, and are comfortable at navigating Tunisia’s systems and different geographies. 

 

SCOPE OF WORK:

  • Coordinate the current multiyear Youth Programme with our strong Tunisian Civil Society partners and deliver exceptional Project Management for the flagship Danish Foreign Ministry’s DAPP Project. 
  • Map and design other prospective projects under the current Youth Programme in cooperation with current and future local (and international) partners.  
  • Oversee the implementation of GAME’s programme delivery: including: dual-weekly ‘GAME Zones’ (physical sites) in five locations across Tunis, Central, and Southern Tunisia, including in refugees foyers;  deliver ‘Playmaker Camps’ to train over 50 Volunteer ‘Playmakers’, lead the Annual ‘GAME Finals’ event. 
  • Design an entrepreneurial seed grant project component in cooperation with other GAME country offices.
  • Provide technical inputs to GAME HQ on field-level activities and learnings.   
  • Lead participatory design processes.
  • Manage the GAME Zone Managers responsible for every Zone.
  • Inspire and lead a team of dozens of over 50 local young Volunteers.
  • Lead report writing processes with support from Zone Managers, LAF Manager, and Comms Manager. 

Critères d'éligibilité

  • Tunisian National with Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 4+ Years’ experience in community engagement.
  • Team Management and Project Management Experience.
  • Plays sports (football, basketball, dance, etc) and believes in the power of sport
  • Municipal Government engagement Experience.
  • Fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
  • Volunteer Management experience
  • Experience with Displaced populations and/or refugees.
  • Remote control management and reporting experience.
  • Significant NGO Experience and have engaged with UN Agencies.
  • Athletic background in team sports.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation Experience.
