Position Title :  

Program Officer – Economic Opportunities  (POEO) 

The goal of the Position: 

The Program Officer – Economic Opportunities will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate  the policies, activities, and team of the Economic Opportunities Program, ensuring legal  compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and Economic Opportunities  Program strategy and projects. 

Role: 

∙ Technical advisory in management and Implementation of program strategies in the  area of Economic Opportunities. 

∙ Develop, implement and monitor the Economic Opportunities program and project  activities. 

∙ Oversees the daily workflow of the Economic Opportunities Program Team.

∙ Develop, Implement and enhance the Peace Program activities timeline and ensure their  contribution to a more peaceful society. 

∙ Collaborate and communicate with project partners, sponsors, and stakeholders. 

Responsibilities: 

∙ Plan and execute program activities in a timely and accurate manner. ∙ Responsible for accurate narrative reporting against agreed objectives and results  frameworks 

∙ Analyze and troubleshoot program challenges. 

∙ Develop best practices to improve overall program performance 

∙ Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new  technologies in project management, Social Entrepreneurship, and Vocational Education  and Training; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and  resources to upper management. 

∙ Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for Economic  Opportunities Program Team. 

∙ Performs other duties as required. 

Time Commitment: 

∙ 7 hours a day, 35 hours a week, 5 days a week. 

Site: 

∙ WeYouth Organization HQ, Programs Department Office 

∙ On activities sites across Tunisia. 

Supervision/Training: 

∙ Monthly supervision/training groups are provided by the Head of Programs and the  Executive Director. 

∙ Individual meetings with the Head of Programs when necessary. 

∙ External growth and training opportunities when possible.
