Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC) is a top-tier, result-oriented technical assistance provider that implements various economic growth projects in the Maghreb. FSVC’s Office in Tunis is looking for a junior- to intermediate-level (up to 5 years of experience), highly-motivated and analytical individual to act as a Tunis-based Financial Analyst to perform financial analysis of businesses, provide program management support to senior-level consultants and experts and help build the financial capacity of a wide range of counterparts, including business support organizations and small businesses.   The position entails frequent travel in the regions of Tunisia. Fluency in English, French and Arabic along with a strong financial background (e.g. private equity …), project management experience, the ability to juggle between multiple projects, creativity and flexibility of mind, ability to work independently and commitment to standards of excellence are required.

 

Key job functions include:

  • Coordinate project activity related to counterpart needs assessment, activity definition, preparation, implementation, reporting, communication and closeout
  • Develop a network of contacts in various financial sector and business support organization areas
  • Liaise closely with other staff member to support program development and project management;
  • Contribute to business development activities, as needed
  • Perform financial analysis, including financial modeling of projects as well as the design and structuring/restructuring of the business model for small businesses. 

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Degree in finance or business management (IHEC, ISG…)
  • Relevant work experience within private equity fund, corporate and/or investment bank, development finance institution or within “Big Four” firms
  • Fluency in English, French and Arabic
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Efficiency and business acumen
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in Project Monitoring and Evaluation is a must
  • Excellent drafting skills in English.
