Project Title: Fa-y-kin: Wake Up, Connect, Engage

Ifrikya Center for Common Ground (ICCG) is a Tunisian non-profit organization working to promote non-violent conflict resolution. ICCG’s mission is to promote sustainable social cohesion within local communities in Tunisia, through the facilitation of conflict transformation processes. ICCG is committed to fostering a culture of dialogue and diversity through the involvement and capacity-building of all components of society. It helps members of Tunisian society to address conflicts and differences constructively, through cooperation and dialogue. ICCG works through multiple channels, mainly with public authorities, young people, representatives of civil society organizations in the 24 governorates, the Tunisian media, and local authorities, to build the capacity of individuals and institutions to address challenges by understanding differences and acting on common ground.

About the project: 

 

Fa-y-k-in builds on the success of previous projects, “Fa-y-ke wa Nfeyyak” and “Be Fa-y-a-k” and is a 12-month project funded by Porticus Foundation and implemented by Ifrikya Center for Common Ground (ICCG). The project seeks to address misinformation in Tunisia through online and offline methods while encouraging civic engagement and social change. A key component of the project is creating an eLearning platform to enhance media literacy and fact-checking skills among youth influencers and Tunisian youth.

Objective

The primary objective of this ToR is to engage a production team/company to develop and execute a full-scale awareness campaign. The campaign will include multimedia content (videos, social media posts, infographics) aimed at promoting civic engagement, active participation, and social cohesion. 

Scope of Work

The selected team/company will be responsible for:

    • Pre-Production:
      1. Collaborating with the project team and 15 youth participants to finalize key campaign messages.
      2. Developing a comprehensive communication plan, including a timeline, deliverables, and distribution strategy.
      3. Conducting a briefing with the participants to explain their roles in content creation.
    • Production:
      1. Producing at least 4 short videos (1 minute each) per participant with the involvement of youth from the 4 target regions.
      2. Producing 10-15 pieces of visual content (graphics, infographics) for social media.
      3. Capturing behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with participants, if necessary.
    • Post-Production:
      1. Editing and finalizing multimedia content.
      2. Ensuring all content is aligned with the campaign’s messaging and objectives.
      3. Subtitling the videos if needed.
      4. Providing the final content in formats optimized for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Distribution Support:
    1. Assisting in content rollout according to the agreed distribution plan.
    2. Monitoring and reporting on audience engagement and reach.

Deliverables: 

  • The videos produced. 
  • 10-15 pieces of social media content (graphics, infographics).
  • A detailed communication and distribution plan.
  • Reports on audience engagement, including metrics such as views, shares, and comments.

Timeline

The entire campaign must be completed within four months from the start of the contract. The following milestones are expected:

Month 1: Pre-production and finalization of key messages.

Month 2-3: Production and content creation with participants.

Month 4: Post-production and finalization of all materials and Campaign launch and distribution.

Required Qualifications

The ideal team/company should possess the following qualifications:

    • Proven experience in campaign production, especially in youth-led or social issue-focused campaigns.
    • Experience working in Tunisia or with Tunisian youth.
    • Technical expertise in video production, content creation, and digital media.
  • Strong understanding of local contexts and challenges related to the campaign topic.
