Private Sector Engagement Component Lead – Expectation State Retour vers les opportunités

Expectation State is a purpose driven company, committed to tackling the toughest problems in Emerging States. We provide a different approach to private sector development in our focus countries, offering a specialist vehicle to increase the quantity and quality of investment emerging states attract.

We are looking for a Private Sector Engagement Component Lead to form a key part of a proposal we are submitting to an international donor. We have not yet secured funding for this position. The project aims to support the Government of Tunisia in its effort to meet increasing demand for electricity and promote energy conservation. The overarching implementation approach will be leveraging available external sources of assistance (including capital).

Role:

We are looking for a motivated private sector engagement component lead, to:

• Integrate private sector engagement activities and considerations across the project’s focus on energy sector strengthening, diversification and development;
• Engage the private sector in the development and implementation of innovative solutions and pilot projects to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions;
• Secure meaningful partnerships and mobilise private capital and expertise from local and international private sector stakeholders;
• Provide policy and regulatory recommendations to improve the business enabling environment and enhance investment in the Tunisian energy sector;
• Develop and support the Government of Tunisia in the implementation of, innovative public-private partnerships; and
• Serve as a senior-management team member in a high-functioning project team.
