Background 

Belady: an Island for Humanity is a human rights organization supporting Egyptian women and children among political prisoners since 2017 through providing tailored-need services including legal assistance, psychological support, observation and documentation, research and advocacy. Belady is hiring a psychologist consultant to accompany and provide psychological support to former prisoners through the development of a psychotherapeutic educational program for individual and group use.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Develop an psychotherapeutic educational program for individual use for ex-detainees.
2. Establish reports on the cases.
3. Participate in the development of the psychological part of Belady’s databases.

Required Qualifications 

1. Advanced degree in related academic fields. 
2. Fluent in Arabic; Egyptian dialect is an asset. English is preferable. 
3. Previous humanitarian field experience is an added value.
4. Computer Literacy and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
5. Teamwork and Cooperation.
