Background

Tunisian Center for Public Health is a non-governmental organization aiming to develop the science and art of public health in Tunisia and in the region.

The Tunisian Center for Public Health works collaboratively with academic and community partners to identify critical public health challenges, design and implement research and develop intervention strategies for urban and vulnerable populations. The Center’s focus is to utilize research findings to provide tangible benefits to communities, reduce health care disparities, and foster public health care quality improvement.

Intern Job Summary

Tunisian Center for Public Health is seeking an energetic intern to join the management team.

Intern Duties and Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

•    Manage the day to day operation of the local office in Tunis

•    Assist in preparing information and research materials

•    Support the organization and the management of the internal meetings

•    Research and gather documentations on public health related topics

•    Keep the content of the website up to date; and ensure that the publications are made available for the public.

•    Be responsible of the communication with partners

•    Support actively grant application and other fundraising activities.

•    Assist in reaching out to prospective corporate, foundation, and individual donors.

•    Work with the research team on research topics.

Other Duties are to:

•    Undertake any necessary training and/or development

•    Undertake appropriate administration tasks

•    Attend relevant meetings

•    Cover any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as directed by line manager / supervisor
