Position : Residence Staff Chambermaid

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a VIP environment supporting excellent customer service with a sense for details. You will organise your time effectively while taking account of customer needs and requirements. You will collaborate with the wider Residence Team and be prepared to work flexibly if required to assist during official functions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Cleaning:
- All bedrooms and bathrooms on the private side of the Residence
- Preparing and checking all bedrooms on the Official side (VIP Suite and upstairs guest room)
- Laundry:
- Laundry (towels, bedlinen, clothes, shoes)
- Ironing
- Organise for dry cleaning when necessary.
- Inform the Residence Manager of maintenance requests related to dedicated areas
- Assisting when required at public functions

WORKING HOURS
- Total working hours per week according to the contract: 40 hours
- Working Hours breakdown:
- Monday to Friday: 09.00-16.00 = 35 hours/week
- Saturday: 09.00-14.00 = 5 hours/week
- Sunday off
- Public Holidays off as all staff unless special arrangement is needed
- The British Embassy in Tunisia offers an attractive working environment and remuneration package for this role. Initial salary will be TND 676 per month while on probation. Salary after probation is TND 837.
- The British Embassy and Residence in Tunisia offers an attractive working environment and remuneration package for this role. The salary will be negotiated according to skills and experience.
- The successful candidate will be subject to a 90 day probationary period.
The appointment is also subject to satisfactory local and UK security clearances.
