The Maghreb Young Leaders Organisation (MYLO) has worked with the Office of the member of the European Parliament, Fabio Massimo Castaldo MEP, to open up an opportunity for one young Tunisian to complete an internship in the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium.
The internship will last for a minimum of 3 months renewable up to a maximum of one year (according to the will of both parties).
The successful candidate will join Mr. Castaldo’s staff working in the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, especially focusing on Tunisia and Middle East and North Africa region.
The internship will focus on researching political and economic developments in the MENA region. The intern will be tasked with studying reports and dossiers and preparing working notes on the issues followed. In addition to that, he/she will monitor Tunisian and Arab media and collect articles and information on the Maghreb region.
A monthly salary of 1000 Euros will be provided. The candidate will be based in Brussels, Belgium, and will have to arrange his/her own accommodation, flights and other daily needs.
Requirements:
· A degree in political sciences, law, economics or international relations
· Fluency in Arabic, French and English – reading, writing and speaking
· Ability to work closely with a team
· Knowledge of the Middle East and North Africa region
· Strong analytical abilities and excellent writing skills
· Experience of working abroad is preferable
