The national debate on educational reform launched in April 2015 and which lasted for a whole year resulted in the publication of a white paper synthesizing the results of the debate and the main lines of the reform. In addition, this work served as the basis for the development of the strategic plan for the education sector for the period 2016-2020. To support this reform, the UNICEF country office has mobilized external resources in three main areas: (i) support for reform, (ii) early childhood development and (iii) the fight against school dropouts and out of school children, accompanied by an approach to the development of life skills. To this end, UNICEF has received significant support of bilateral and multilateral donors and is expected to receive further funding in the near future.
The objective of this function is to enable the education section of the UNICEF Tunisia country office to meet its resource mobilization and reporting obligations to produce quality level donor reports, quality donor proposals, briefing materials, human interest stories, as well as other information products as required.
