Established in 1951, IOM is a Related Organization of the United Nations, and as the leading UN organization in the field of migration works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants.

Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager of ARISE and under the overall direction of the Senior Project Manager of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Tunisia, the successful candidate will be assigned to the following tasks:

Core Functions / Responsibilities:

In particular he/she will:

• Assist in developing multimedia content for IOM website, newsletters, digital channels and other communication channels;
• Creating and developing multimedia (audio/video) content for an array of stories for distribution across a variety of platforms;
• Design and develop visibility materials for the mission’s projects;
• Record and edit video and sound projects, including shooting, organizing video set ups, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, titling, adding music/voice-over/sound effects, media management and archiving project media;
• Foster a large outreach for the ARISE campaign on irregular migration and to oversee service providers when needed, including by identifying events or media platforms to give visibility to the campaign or to other projects of the mission;
• Identify and trainin the influencers of the ARISE campaign on alternative communication tools;
• Assist the project manager in overseeing the social media campaign for the ARISE project;
• Assists the communications officer in developing functional requirements such as press release uploads to the website. Coordinates and collaborates with communication officer to ensure blogs/press releases are executed in a manner consistent with IOM Communication strategy;
• Produce video and photography and video shoots;
• Provides video and event support, helps manage scheduling and logistics;
• Manages video library and assets;
• Performs related duties as assigned
