Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified Communication Officer to support with the implimentation of MMC activities, all communication activities for the whole MMC network.
About the job
The Communication Officer supports with the implementation of MMC activities in relation to internal and external communication and visibility, finalization of MMC publications for release, report launches, and organization of events. Your main duties and responsibilities will be/Communication strategy
• Supporting the implementation of MMC’s external communication strategy.
Publications, events, online presence and campaigns
• Regularly updating content on the website such as uploading articles and resources and updating webpages when needed.
• Assisting with managing MMC’s digital channels and social media platforms, including X, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Supporting the release of publications, including checking that outputs are in line with MMC editorial and brand guidelines.
• Developing MMC’s newsletters at regional level and globally.
• Drafting communication plans and toolkits for the launch of key research publications, such as the Quarterly Mixed Migration Updates.
• Supporting communication activities for key events such as the launch event of the Mixed Migration Review.
• Creating engaging multi-media content in various formats, such as short videos and graphics, in line with MMC’s brand guidelines.
Coordination
• Monitoring monthly website analytics, social media analytics, event attendance and post-event surveys, and media references.
• Assisting with input into MMC’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning.
• Keeping the MMC page on DRC’s InSite up to date.
• Liaising with the regional hubs, graphic designers and editors.
• Engaging with partners to disseminate MMC research products
