In the framework of the EU-funded Med Culture programme, a set of capacity development activities have been scheduled to take place in the next two years (2015-2017). These activities target both the authorities and cultural practitioners from the civil society in South Mediterranean countries. The purpose of this open call is to establish a pool of experts who would be eligible to moderate and/or to contribute both to the content and design of these activities.
Tasks to be accomplished
In close collaboration with the Med Culture Capacity Development Expert, the candidates will be invited to prepare a tailor-made intervention to answer priorities identified throughout the consultation phase of the programme across the region in 2014. The candidates will have to implement the designed activity based on a Peer-to- Peer approach to a group of 15-20 participants. A report will have to be delivered at the end of the assignment.
Technical details
Around 15 actions targeting the authorities and civil society practitioners are planned. These actions will be implemented over a period of 1-3 days each time and will take place in the countries[1] involved in Med Culture programme. The experts are expected to have the flexibility to travel to these countries accordingly.
