DRC ALT is looking for an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Specialist to oversee MEAL functions for Tunisia, with a specific focus on the Youth Inclusion and Employment Project (YIEP) which is part of the Youth Employment Program of the Danish-Arab Partnership Program (DAPP) funded by the Danish Ministry of foreign affairs, and for which DRC is the country lead in Tunisia. The Danish Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP) (2022—2027) is Denmark’s collaboration programme with the Middle East and North Africa. The programme aims to build partnerships to strengthen good governance and ensure economic opportunities, especially for young people and women in Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco. The Youth Inclusion and Employment Project (YIEP) focuses on enabling young people to be inspired and included in economic life. The target groups are burgeoning entrepreneurs and youth in search of employment. YIEP will equip young people with the right skills and connections so that they can secure decent jobs or engage in entrepreneurship. In Tunisia, YIEP aims to enhance the employability of 24,000 youth aged 18 to 35 from across Tunisia, and support 4,800 to enter the workforce (30% in green jobs). DRC is the country lead for the DAPP-YIEP in Tunisia.
The MEAL Specialist will be based in Tunis with frequent travel to field locations and partners ’offices. This position requires strong previous experience in developing MEAL tools and in coordinating between different teams and among partners.
