The U.S. Embassy in Tunis is seeking an individual to fill the temporary Election Coordinator Assistant innthe Political Economic Section
The Elections Coordinator Assistant serves as the principal assistant to the Political Economic Section Elections Advisor. The incumbent provides administrative support to the Elections Advisor and plays a principal role in setting up meetings and organizing events, drafting communications, and keeping proper records and files. The Incumbent will be part of the Political Economic team effort to support the Embassy’s top priority through the end of year and early 2015: Tunisia’s National Elections. The Incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Elections Advisor. This position has two core areas of responsibility: administrative support, and political and social analysis.
ADDITIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA:
1. Management will consider nepotism/conflict of interest, budget, and residency status in determining successfulcandidacy.
2. Current employees serving a probationary period are not eligible to apply.
3. Current Ordinarily Resident employees with an Overall Summary Rating of Needs Improvement or Unsatisfactory on their most recent Employee Performance Report are not eligible to apply.
4. Currently employed US Citizen EFMs who hold a FMA appointment are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their employment.
5. Currently employed NORs hired under a Personal Services Agreement (PSA) are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their employment, unless currently hired into a position with a When Actually Employed (WAE) work schedule.
