Ma3an is a five-year (2018-2023) USAID-funded project with the goal to increase youth participation in civic and political life, address youth grievances, and prevent radicalization in Tunisian communities vulnerable to violent extremism.  Ma3an’s objectives include: Youth are equipped with skills and engaged in civic actions with local actors to address their communities’ needs and grievances (Positive Youth Development – PYD), and Tunisian capabilities to prevent and counter violent extremism are enhanced (Preventing Violent Extremism- PVE). At the community level, Ma3an uses a community-driven PYD/PVE model to inform and support sustainable interventions through ongoing collaboration between community actors that are inclusive, participatory, and solutions-focused. These include working with and through local CSO partners to understand local dynamics in each community; and implement community-driven PYD/PVE programming involving youth, local NGOs, local government, and other community leaders through community-specific grants.        

In order to strengthen our Logistics department, we are looking for qualified candidate for the position of Logistics Assistant.

Position Responsibilities

  •  Responds and evaluates staff requests for office furniture and equipment.
  •   Collaborates with Manager regarding space planning and major moves.Serves as main contact for outside vendors for services with office furniture, appliances, and maintenance issues.
  • Inspects common areas and offices for maintenance and renovation needs periodically.
  • Follows inventory procedures and processes.
  • Orders and maintains inventory levels of office supplies, break rooms, and supply cabinets.
  • Maintains office equipment and supplies for copiers and fax machines.
  • Assists employees with office requests such as arranging furniture, hanging pictures, and setting up work station.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

·         Exercises judgment within defined policies and procedures to obtain solutions and perform duties.

·         Decisions made generally affect own job or specific functional area.

Critères d'éligibilité

  • High School Diploma or its international equivalent
  • Typically requires 0-3 years of clerical and administrative support experience.
  • Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
