Apply now for the CrossCulture Internship programme, organised by the IFA (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations) in Germany.
Accepted candidates will start internships that last for 8 weeks up to three months, and gain international experience. You will receive training and enrichment to professionally develop and train, and fain insight into the social and political structures of Germany.
Interns’ travel costs are covered, as well as living expenses through a 550 EUR monthly stipend. Also visa fees, health insurance and accommodation is covered.
Cross Culture PLUS
If you are from selected countries ( Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Libya, Jordan and Morocco) you can apply to the PLUS programme, where you follow the same internship experience in Germany and receive grants for small projects in your home country.
AREAS OF FOCUS
You can opt to work / intern in one of the following fields (for both the CrossCulture programme and the CrossCulture Plus programme):
- Knowledge society and education
- Legal dialogue, justice and human rights
- International politics and civic education
- Environment
- Economy and development cooperations
- Media
- Culture and art
Critères d'éligibilité
- Age : 23 - 45
- Language : English
- You are from South Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa or the Gulf countries
- Are a young professional or active volunteer
- Open to work / intern in another culture
- Work or volunteer in civil society in your country (for example media, NGO, institutes etc)
- Have an interest in social and/or political development
- University students are not eligible
- You are from one of theses countries : Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen
- If you are applying to "CrossCulture PLUS" : you are from Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Libya, Jordan, Morocco
