The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was established in 1991 by the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a government organization for Official Development Assistance (ODA) to improve the effectiveness of the Republic of Korea’s grant assistance programs for developing countries by implementing government grant assistance and technical cooperation programs. Present in 44 countries, KOICA provides rich and authentic experiences of Korea’s economic development.

Your mission:
- Explore project funding opportunities related to KOICA’s objectives in Tunisia.
- Coordinate all the activities of the CIAT program (i.e. Capacity building program – Master’s degrees).
- Coordinate and execute implementation processes of the capacity-building program and the trainings provided for public officers in Tunisia.
- Spread the coordination of the KAAT activities (KOICA Alumni Association of Tunisia).
- Facilitate the intervention of teams of experts and collaboration with partners.
- Assist the Tunisian authorities in the preparation of the new project proposals.
- Serve as the Focal point for communication with Ministry of Economy and Planning and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Prepare analytic reports (i.e. economic and political reports) and manage meeting minutes and events.
- Review action plans, participate in communication with partners, and take appropriate follow-up actions. Provide support in the processing of requests.
- Bolster the communication and visibility activities of KOICA Office in Tunisia, including the preparation of communication materials and their dissemination on the various communication channels (website, social networks, etc.)
- Monitor the logistics of all project activities (i.e. events, meetings, training, etc.)
- Contribute to the preparation of project reports and activities progress.
- Support the implementation of the activities of other KOICA-funded programs/projects in Tunisia (if deemed necessary).
- Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor (i.e. administrative work related to the projects; new project and program process tasks, etc.)
- Present availability for business travel when applicable
Eligibility criteria:
- 3-year university degree(a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree), preferably in the field of management sciences, international cooperation studies or any other related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a project coordination position, preferably in an international organization;
- Knowledge of the regional development problems in Tunisia, and minimum knowledge of the socio-economic context of the country.
- Languages: English and French are the working languages of KOICA. Full professional fluency in English (written and oral) and French (written and oral) is required, and knowledge of Korean is an advantage. Candidate’s language skills will be verified during the writing test and the job interview.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a part of a team and effectively manage multiple and varied tasks
- Ability to identify priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently, proactively and cooperatively
- Demonstrate integrity by modeling the values and ethical standards of KOICA.
