Position Title : National Medical Officer
Duty Station : IOM Tunisia

Type of contract and Duration : OYFT (one year fixed term contract, with possibility of renewal)
International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Tunis is looking for a National Medical Officer.
Organizational Context and Scope:
Under the general supervision of the Chief of Mission (COM) and the direct supervision of the Counter Trafficking/Migrants Protection Project Manager (CT/MP-PM) in Tunisia, the successful candidate will ensure the proper implementation of the regional project “Promoting health and well-being of migrants” (TRANSIT II) in Tunisia while providing technical support to the Tunisian government, including instances belonging to the Ministry of Health and the civil society.

b) coordinates actions with emergency response actors and making use of coordination structures;
c) supports adequate levels of information sharing between internal units, cluster partners,IOM and other emergency response actors;
d) establishes and maintains effective relationships with implementing partners;
e) makes correct decisions rapidly based on available information.
