INTERNSHIP OFFER 

Monitoring & Evaluation assistant 

L’ART RUE, an Arts and Culture organization located in the heart of the medina of Tunis, aims to  democratize contemporary art by bringing artistic creations close to the population.  

L’ART RUE designs and implements artistic and cultural projects with the local population through  several activities: 

1. Artistic residencies, which lead to the creations presented in Dream City every two years; 2. Educational artistic activities with children;
2. Cooperation projects with different international cultural actors;
3. Meetings, debates, round tables and cultural events. 

All the activities of L’Art Rue converge so that art makes society: the immersive approach of the artists  that we welcome in residence, the educational activities that we develop, the times dedicated to the  reflection on the projects, and Dream City festival, whose next edition will be held from September 30  to October 9, 2022. L’ART RUE also wishes to open up more to its region and to the world, which is  why the association is a partner in several cultural cooperation projects. In this context, L’ART RUE is  looking for an intern Monitoring and Evaluation assistant. 

The missions 

• Monitoring and evaluation

o Monitoring of the Dream City biennial and support for the monitoring of all the association’s  activities 

o Support for the implementation and improvement of monitoring and evaluation tools for Dream  City and others projects 

o Support for data collection for the Dream City biennial and the activities of the different  departments 

o Support for the design and the writing of the Dream City 2022 final report 

• Mediation

o Prior to Dream City and at the end of the festival, setting up a mediation work with the  shopkeepers of the medina district to evaluate the economic impact of the festival on the shops  of the medina 

o Implementation of an audience mediation strategy, supported by the person in charge of  audiences 

o Analysis of the data collected  

• Other tasks

o Support for the Tashweesh Festival, in collaboration with the production team (September 23-25  2022) 

o Support for the All-Around Culture project 

o Occasional support for other cooperation projects and activities of the association

Profile required 

• Experience

o Professional training (3 or 5 years of higher education) in project management or social sciences  (political science, arts, culture, or other relevant field) 

o Experience in project management appreciated 

o Experience in data collection and/or analysis appreciated 

o Knowledge of statistical software is a plus 

• Skills

o Computing skills and good knowledge of the Office Pack (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)  o Good analytical skills 

o Communication and interpersonal skills 

o Good writing skills 

o Ability to work in a team  

o Rigor, organizational skills 

o Fluency in English and Arabic  

Internship conditions 

Tripartite training agreement with the training organization 

Full-time internship of 4 months, from August 22, 2022 to December 16, 2022 Position based in the offices of Art Rue, in Tunis (Medina) 

Internship allowances : 600 dinars per month
