The ICRC Delegation in Libya – temporarily located in Tunis – seeks to fill the following position:

PROTECTION Data Manager

The position is based in Tunis

Under the supervision of the Senior Protection Data Manager, he/she manages protection data and other information collected both internally and externally to support the ICRC’s activities on behalf of people entitled to protection under international humanitarian law and related decision-making

MAIN TASKS

• Supervises use of the Prot 6 case-management IT tool.
• Carries out data entry and processing; sets data-entry procedures and participates in reviews of working procedures.
• Promotes a good data-management system and ensures that it is of high quality by carrying out data controls.
• Provides statistics on protection activities for external reporting and ad-hoc figures for internal use.
• Carries out data analysis.
• Contributes to or manages the daily organization of the protection office.
• Guarantees the protection and security of individuals’ personal data.
• Supports the protection coordination team in adopting and implementing new ICT tools.
