Position Title : Supply chain Intern

Organizational Context and Scope:
Under the overall guidance of the IOM Tunisia Chief of Mission and the overall supervision of Senior
Supply Chain Assistant, the successful candidate will be tasked to assist with the operational activities of the Mission
The Intern will undertake the following tasks:
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Work with the Sr/Supply Chain Assistant on activities and Supply Chain procedures. This may include responsibilities related to PR creation, filing, reception and checking of ordered goods, as well as follow–up on its storage,
• Assist with vendor creation and database updates;
• Attending internal meetings related to Supply Chain areas of IOM’s activities.
• Interact with other departments to assist with required services;
• Assist with the preparation of situational and statistical reports on activities as assigned;
• Coordinate with other IOM Field Missions, as necessary, to facilitate project development and implementation; and
• Assisting with inventory management tasks.
• Undertake all other tasks as may be assigned
Desirable Qualifications, Experience and skills:
• Currently enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program or enrolled in a second university degree or recently graduated from an accredited academic institution preferably in Supply Chain or related fields, logistics, business administration, law.
• Demonstrated interest in working in international organizations;
• Sound knowledge of project implementation, financial and administrative management skills are an advantage;
• Familiarity with the region and the migration thematic is an asset;
• Computer literate with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Capacity to work effectively and harmoniously within people at different levels within and outside organization and with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds.
• Candidate should be highly motivated with dynamic personality and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to draft correspondence and communicate effectively
• Ability to analyse and interpret source information and data; capable of designing, reviewing and revising business processes to achieve efficiency.
• Strong organizational and planning skills;
• Excellent time management skills;
• Attention to details and problem–solving skills;
• Capacity to work effectively and harmoniously within a team of colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds.
Languages:
• Full fluency in written and spoken Arabic, French and English.
