The ICRC Delegation in Libya, temporarily located in Tunis, has a vacancy for:

ICT Technician

The position will be based in Tunis

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in all aspects of Information Communications Technology that will enable them to provide a
solid service to all interlocutors. In addition to the technical background, they will possess good customer service skills and an ability to prioritize. A pro-active, solution oriented personality is a must.

 Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installing, updating and maintaining ICT and Telecom infra-structure for the HelpDesk in ICRC office in (Libya Support Unit) LSU Tunis
• Interrelate with all the internal and external interlocutors including service providers
• Install, update and maintain ICT and Telecom setup of all structures’ of ICRC in LSU in Tunis as well as all professional ICRC Informatics and Telecom/Radio equipment
• Assist the ICT Regional Head of department in the implementation of ICT projects in LSU
• ICT 2nd level Helpdesk Support
• Manage IT inventory and movements of ICT materials
• Follow-up proactively the latest ICT and telecommunication developments and inform ICT Head of department and colleagues
• Allocate ICT resources according to users’ needs in compliance with ICT policies
• Share technical and historical knowledge with the team in accordance with ICT documenting procedures
• Ensures timely reporting when required
