Salary Range (gross): 1800 TND – 3200 TND per month, depending on level of experience and on part time or full-time employment.
Anticipated Start Date: Earliest convenience
Base of Designation/Remote Eligible Tunis, with excursions within Tunisia and possibly to Italy.

World Learning Tunisia (SIT Study Abroad) seeks a full time or part time homestay coordinator to identify and screen local families, for all programs, in collaboration with the Center Director (CD) and in accordance with World Learning Policies, determining the appropriate fit for each student. The homestay coordinator is also responsible for following up on homestay issues and resolving them under the guidance of the Center Director. The homestay coordinator must be available to address emergencies as they arise, including being able to transport students to seek medical care and other resources as the and when the need arises. The homestay coordinator contributes to the overall success of the program and may undertake general program support tasks as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be willing and able to travel on program excursions as determined by the CD. Excursions may range from one day up to several weeks in duration.
Programs are situated in urban as well as remote locations where accommodations may be rudimentary, and accessibility limited. Some aspects of the program may require physical exertion such as, but not limited to, occasionally driving, walking, as well as remaining stationary for long periods. Depending on the theme of the program there may be excursions in rugged terrain which may require, but are not limited to, activities such as hiking, climbing and/or water-based sports.
