Handicap International is looking for:
1- an Administrator / Logistician
Contract: Fixed term contract (4 months)
Starting date: June 2015
Place: Based in Tunis
Short description of the position:
As the Administrator/ Logistician, you are under the responsibility of the Head of Mission for the activities in Lybia. The coordination team is based in Tunis.
Your main challenges and goals will be as follow:
– Supporting the day-to-day running of finance, administration and logistics
– Building national staff capacities
– Ensuring effective and optimised coordination between support service and the project team in Tripoli
Activities:
To achieve those goals, your tasks are divided in three main responsibility areas:
– Management of programme’s financial resources: financial monitoring, accountancy following, monthly reviewing of the budget holders, etc.
– Administrative & Human Resources management: recruitment, training policy, implementation of staff appraisal process, HR follow-up of national staff, etc.
– Logistics management: transport and vehicles management supervising, purchase and procurement procedures, etc.
Profile sought:
Skills & experiences: You have
– A higher degree in Administration and Finance
– At least 3 years of proven experience in managing a humanitarian program on the administrative level
– A first experience in logistics
– Experience of operational partnership management, at administrative level
Personal qualities: You are
– Known for your strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
– Used to work in a stressful environment
– Able to organize and prioritize tasks
– Flexible and adaptable
Competencies
– Experience of operational partnership management, at admin level.
– Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
– English and French language (oral and written)
