GSMA Platforms for Tomorrow

The GSMA Mobile Innovation Hub Tunisia is pleased to announce the launch of its new ‘Platforms for Tomorrow’ programme. Supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in Germany (BMZ), this acceleration programme aims to support start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs, and social enterprises in the platform economy to scale, improve workforce conditions and partner with telecom operators.

The Platforms for Tomorrow acceleration program support innovators, from different economic sectors in Tunisia, who deploy platform economy business models. By helping platforms thrive, we aim to help platform economy players reap the benefits by enabling jobs, increasing productivity, and generating economic opportunities.

Over six months, selected innovators will have access to dedicated industry experts, specialised advisors, and technical mentors to optimize their solutions, connections with investors and mobile operators and enhanced visibility at local and international levels to boost their ability to scale and have socio-economic impact.

To be eligible to the programme we encourage applicants to have: 

• Solutions demonstrating traction in the form of active users, early sales, product launched.
• Solutions with a potential for high social and economic impact. 
• Solutions matching supply and demand leveraging digital platforms. 
• Solutions with a potential scalable product or service with a significant total addressable market. 
• Aspiration to improve the quality of your workforce performance and wellbeing by providing dedicated training.
• Potential for cooperation with Mobile Network Operators (telecoms).
