The goal of the Position:
Create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media to inspire and attract the target audience.
Role:
Defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
- Prepare drafts and present ideas.
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software.
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
- Amend designs after feedback.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
Qualifications:
- Proven graphic designing experience.
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
- Familiarity with design software (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus.
Time Commitment:
- 4 hours per day, 20 hours a week, 5 days per week.
Site:
- Communication Department of WeYouth
Supervision/Training:
- Monthly supervision/training groups are provided by the Head of Communication.
- Individual meetings with the Head of Communication when necessary.
- External growth and training opportunities when possible.
