Paid Intern – Graphic Designer for Belady Organization

Position Title: Graphic Designer 

Form of Employment: Paid Internship 

Starting Date: ASAP

Duration: 4 months with possibility of renewal

Location: Tunis, Tunisia 

Background

Belady – an Island for Humanity, is a human rights organization that advocates civil and political rights and aims at promoting transparency and accountability and curbing violations. Belady is looking for a paid intern graphic designer to create visual concepts to communicate information and ideas and combine design elements to aesthetically develop appealing layouts, advertisements, reports, and logos and contribute to the next communication campaign through innovative and creative content.

Role and responsibilities:

1. Supporting Belady’s graphic designer in developing illustrations, logos, and other designs using software with creativity (new and unique ideas).
2. Good selection of colors, images, and layouts for communication materials, including websites, logos, videos, reports, covers, and social media posts.
3. Working closely with the team to ensure deadlines and project expectations are met.
4. Ability to respect the graphic charter of Belady’s current project.

Required qualifications: 

1. Degree in relevant field.
2. The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices.
3. Sense of initiative and excellent organizational and time management skills.
4. Familiarity with the situation in Egypt is highly preferred.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
