The U.S. Embassy Tunis in Tunis is looking to recruit a Grants and M&E Specialist.
The applicant will work primarily on grants and will report directly to the Senior Foreign Assistance Specialist.
The incumbent will work with the Senior Foreign Assistance Specialist and the Assistance Unit Chief to identify and solicit new grant proposals. S/he will convene a panel to review the proposals and notifying the implementers of the panel’s decision.
The incumbent will be responsible for conducting site visits, filing visit reports, tracking performance, and preparing success stories (for outreach) of USG awards.
S/he will also act as a Grants Officer Representative for Assistance Unit managed grants. Extensive in-country travel will be required.
Critères d'éligibilité
- At least 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation in development projects implemented by national/international NGOs/UN bodies/ Government.
- Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports.
- Knowledge of the Tunisian civil society and economic and political scenes
- Expertise in data analysis and monitoring and evaluation designing tools
- Good understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Knowledge of what a grant is and how it can be applied to implement projects.
- Bachelors’ degree (BA) in Business Administration, Economics or related field is required.
- English (IV, IV), Arabic (IV, IV), French (IV, IV)
- Must be expert with MS Office programs (especially Excel).
- Must be knowledgeable of the Management Information System Software.
- Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software.
- Must be willing to learn new assistance specific databases.
