Job Title: Field Coordinator Jendouba

Project: Ma3an

Location: Jendouba, Tunisia

Job Type: Full Time Employee

Reports to: Jendouba Regional program manager

 

 

Background:

Ma3an is a five-year (2018-2023) USAID-funded project with the goal to increase youth participation in civic and political life, address youth grievances, and prevent radicalization in Tunisian communities vulnerable to violent extremism.Ma3an’s objectives include: Youth are equipped with skills and engaged in civic actions with local actors to address their communities’ needs and grievances (Positive Youth Development – PYD), and Tunisian capabilities to prevent and counter violent extremism are enhanced (Preventing Violent Extremism- PVE). At the community level, Ma3an uses a community-driven PYD/PVE model to inform and support sustainable interventions through ongoing collaboration between community actors that are inclusive, participatory, and solutions-focused. These include working with and through local CSO partners to understand local dynamics in each community; and implement community-driven PYD/PVE programming involving youth, local NGOs, local government, and other community leaders through community-specific grants.

Position Responsibilities

  • Create and update regularly field office progress trackers
  • Coordinate closely with different departments to ensure the respect of implementation timeline and deadlines
  • Prepare periodic reports and documentations including but not limited to field site visits
  • Communicating and coordinating as needed with other members of the project team
  • Reports on regular basis the field implementation progress to the regional team
  • Support the regional team in preparing program and grants tasks as needed
  • Prepare the EMMP (Environmental mitigation and monitoring planning) documentations and trackers
  • Ensure follow ups and respect of implementation timelines
  • Maintain accurate and complete field reports, files and trackers
  • Assist the regional team in activity implementation, as assigned by RPM

Critères d'éligibilité

  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience sufficient to perform the key responsibilities of the position.
  • 2 years of experience working in operations , administration, and coordination.
  • Previous experience with an international organization or NGO strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic , English, and French /Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and computer software skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills, well organized and detailed oriented.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify errors, and prepare reports.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • Can multitask, work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines
