Position Summary:  

FHI360 is currently recruiting for the position of Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Advisor for USAID Tunisia Resilience and Community Empowerment (Ma3an) program. The Ma3an program will increase the capacity of communities to withstand political, social, and economic stresses and shocks by achieving the objectives of: 1) strengthened community resilience, 2) mitigated community vulnerabilities, and 3) improved capacity of Tunisian partners to sustain and replicate the model. Ma3an will spur 30 of Tunisia’s most vulnerable communities to action and generate sustainable resources for development in areas that are vulnerable to instability and violent extremism (VE). Together with USAID/Tunisia’s programs in accountability, decentralization, and youth entrepreneurship (i.e., TADAEEM and Mashrou3i), Ma3an will consolidate democratic progress while fostering social cohesion in target areas.

Key Responsibilities

The Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships Advisor will serve as a member of the technical team and will report to the Sustainability, Partnership and Social Inclusion Manager.

S/he will manage the Advisory Council and develops and implements MA3AN’s overall strategy for engaging public, private, and civil society stakeholders. The Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships Advisor will coach the five Regional Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships Officers located in MA3AN sub-offices.

The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical design and implementation support to local partners and regional staff to
    develop a shared understanding of resiliency needs in MA3AN target communities where
    community members (public and private) are actively engaged as participants and leaders in the
    full cycle of design, management, and evaluation of community activities;
  • Develop and implement MA3AN’s overall strategy for engaging public, private, and civil society
    stakeholders;
  • Lead on the mapping of private sector and existing CSR initiatives in MA3AN intervention regions;
  • Oversee and work with Regional Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships Officers to develop public private partnerships in MA3AN target communities to help them respond to unique regional
    challenges;
  • Provide technical design and implementation support for the organization of the local public private dialogues, producing agreed upon activities;
  • Work with MA3AN local partners to help local enterprises in MA3AN target communities understand the value of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and to replicate and scale CSR
    initiatives to contribute to local development activities;
  • Assist the Sustainability, Partnership and Social Inclusion Manager and Deputy Chief of Party with the design and development of activities that promote private-public partnerships and address community resilience local challenges;
  • Coordinate regularly with Regional Program Managers in all offices to ensure that activities are in
    alignment with program goals;
  • Support the monitoring, evaluation, and learning (ME&L) team and program staff in integrating a
    Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership approach
    into community-level program activities;
  • Collaborate with the MA3AN Communications Specialist to find and post relevant resources and
    events on the planned MA3AN Facebook page;
  • Conduct technical research and improvement of methodologies, as needed.

Critères d'éligibilité

  • Cultural sensitivity and strong interest in dialogue, peacebuilding and conflict transformation.
  • Excellent coordination, communication (verbal and written) and networking skills;
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm while working in a fast-paced, often challenging environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work through stringent deadlines with attention to detail, and coordinate and compile information from various sources.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work independently;
  • Flexibility and capacity to adapt to evolving contexts.
  • Team spirit and ability to collaborate with colleagues in an open and constructive way.
