We seek qualified candidates for the position of Procurement and Logistic Assistant.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

The Procurement and Logistics Assistant will be responsible for financial coordination and support of the procurement, logistics, and sub-grant activities. S/he will report to the Finance Officer.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide procurement support for both FHI 360 and sub-grant partners.
  • Collect quotations, issue RFPs, draft selection memos, liaise with vendors, and conduct any other procurement tasks as necessary.
  • Coordinate with team members, hotels and other service providers to ensure events organization and hotels bookings.
  • Ensure the availability of sufficient office supplies and equipment for the functioning of the office and initiate replenishments as necessary.
  • Receive and inspect purchased goods and manage handover and follow-up of goods and services with partners.
  • Liaise with and support FHI 360 sub-grant partners as necessary to support their activities and logistics processes.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of FHI 360’s office.
  • Maintain update an asset inventory tracker.
  • Issue and track assets distribution to the staff members and visitors.
  • Manage a portion of the office’s petty cash. Back-up the Finance Officer for issuing payments and collecting invoices and documentation.
  • Assist in photocopying, binding and training material preparation when required
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

 

Critères d'éligibilité

  • Degree in a relevant field for the job function
  • Previous experience working in procurement, logistics, operations, or administrative and financial management
  • Previous experience with an international organization or NGO strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office computer programs
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and/or Arabic, proficiency in English preferred
