INJAZ Tunisia is calling for expert translators for the online content of the ENI CBC  Med project RESET 

About INJAZ Tunisia  

INJAZ Tunisia, a member of “Junior Achievement Worldwide” and its regional operations  center “INJAZ Al-Arab”, aims to create a world in which young people have the skillset and  mindset to build thriving communities by developing the entrepreneurial culture in Tunisia. In  partnership with leading companies in the private sector, INJAZ Tunisia equips youth to drive  forward the local economy through training designed to inspire them to discover and develop  their entrepreneurial potential, and sharpen their professional skills. INJAZ Tunisia influenced  the lives of over 300 thousand students since its inception in 2010. INJAZ is a member of  Junior Achievement; the world’s largest and fastest-growing youth business organization  dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial  literacy through experiential, hands-on programs Its main mission is to prepare young  Tunisians to succeed in global employment market and to spread entrepreneurial culture in  Tunisia. Its entire curriculum focuses on three main pillars: Entrepreneurship, Financial  Literacy, and Work Readiness…  

About the project  

INJAZ Tunisia joins four other organizations across the Mediterranean to bring the ENI CBC  Med project RESET to life. RESET was created in recognition of the Mediterranean  accelerating employment and environmental crises; there are various calls for action to create  a sustainable and inclusive economy that works for everyone. As the region thrive towards  developing and implementing measures for a sustainable green transition, RESET aims to  facilitate economic and social development via supporting the creation of sustainable and  green businesses. The project will gather, analyse and synthesize learnings regarding ‘what  works’ within the field of sustainable and green business support, and seeks to upstream this  knowledge effectively. It will support local, national and regional stakeholders to make use of  this knowledge to create strategies, policies and regulations to stimulate the green economy.  RESET targets seven Mediterranean countries and will address the whole enabling eco system – from EU projects, local initiatives and policies to national and regional policies and  regulations – to capitalize on knowledge related to training, advice, networking services,  access to funding and markets, as well as Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection, with a  focus on women and youth inclusion.

Description of the requirements: 

– Translation services (English into Arabic):  

– Produce 100% accurate translation of various online content concerning the RESET  website and the RESET social media content; 

– Use the appropriate terminology considering the style and nuances of the original text.  Areas frequently covered by such educational material texts, technical texts,  environment, legal, Business texts… 

– Quality check and proofreading of translation ensuring no typographical errors in the  final text;  

– Ensure timely delivery of translated materials; 

Calendar: 

– From December 2022 to December 2023 (1 year).  

Budget:  

– The maximum available value of the contract is 10,000EUR.  

Duties and responsibilities:  

– Translate and proofread; 

– Share draft translation with RESET Partners; 

– Incorporate suggested changes to the translation;  

– All text, including text contained in figures, boxes, captions, sources, and covers  require translation and proofreading;  

– The translator is expected to perform terminology research to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of translation; 

– The translator is also responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of all documents before submitting it back to the officer in charge of the project.  

Deliverables (Volume of Work): 

– Translation (from English to Arabic) of 2 articles and 5 posts for social media  monthly. (7 pieces monthly). 

Required selection criteria:  

– Advanced degree in translation from English-Arabic  

– Minimum of 3 years’ experience  

– Demonstrated experience in translating professional documents;  

– Experience in translating economic, entrepreneurship, and environmental content;

– Outstanding translation and editing skills in English and Arabic;  

– Demonstrate effective organizational skills and ability to handle work in an efficient  and timely manner, fully proficient in computer skills.

Evaluation Criteria:  

The selection process will be based on:  

– 60% Score for Technical Aspects (CV, experience& tests). 

– 40% Score for the Financial Offer
