Project Overview: 

Ma3an is a five-year (2018-2023) youth-focused project – funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that aims to increase youth participation in civic and political life, address youth grievances, and prevent radicalization in vulnerable communities. Ma3an’s objectives are to equip youth with the skills to engage in civic action to address their communities’ needs and grievances through positive youth development (PYD) and enhance Tunisian capabilities to prevent and counter violent extremism (P/CVE).

Ma3an community support activity in Thala: 

Ma3a project implementing a community support activity in Thala, the intervention is in close collaboration with local stakeholders to modernize and equip youth center of Thala with the necessary equipment to foster youth’s engagement in cultural and sports activities, address their vulnerabilities and drive them away from violence and radicalization through providing spaces for art performances, leisure and sports activities and a space for expression and countering violence narratives 

Therefore, Ma3an is rehabilitating a multidisciplinary sports field for women, a cinematography club, petanque playground, Multidisciplinary rooms, Outdoor Workout space and a multidisciplinary sports field for all youth 

Ma3an also providing trainings to make the intervention at the youth center more effective and useful for the community. Therefore, Ma3an is providing training of trainer in video creation, cinema, and video production for the youth, youth center facilitator, CSO representative and local stakeholders.

Required Expert Service: 

The expert will lead the development and facilitation of 5 days of video creation, cinema, and video production training of trainers in Thala

Scope of Work (SoW): 

Ma3an will organize 5 days of video creation, cinema, and video production training of trainer. The training targets a group of 15 to 20 participants.

Objectives:

1. Give the necessary fundamental knowledge as well as practical experience in selecting a project, writing a script, shooting, and editing a video to create a final product using the following equipment: 

• SLR Camera – Screen: 3 “TFT LCD Touch Clear View II Adjustable
• Carbon Fiber Tripod – Vanguard, compact and lightweight
• Microphone for SLR Camera
• Desktop computer, I7, 7th generation
• External Hard Drive, 4 To capacity (4096 Go)
• Secure storage for cinema equipment
•  Mic arm support kit with shock mount for mic 
•  Condenser microphone; Dynamic Large Diaphragm Speaker Microphone for radio and synchronous studios 
• Wireless microphone + dynamic microphone used for vocals and singing (Cardioid Microphones)_50-16000 Hz
• Data show: 3LCD EB-W51 professional projector – 
• Sound and Power Cable: Speaker Audio Cable (500m)
•  Mandarin kit 4 LED projectors 

1. Equip the audience with necessary tools to practice video creation, cinema, and video production
2. Equip the audience with necessary tools to transfer the knowledge to strengthen their training and facilitation skill. 

Target Audience: 

• 15 Youth between 18 to 29, youth center facilitators, Youth program inspector, CSO representative and local stakeholders.

Expected Deliverables: 

• Develop a rigorous methodology on workshops themes/subthemes, content, format, and type of interaction with audience (Training Preferred to be delivered in Arabic or/and Tunisian dialect).
• Lead the implementation, coordination, and facilitation of the training sessions.

• 5 days 

Event Location: 

• Location: Thala
• 1 room with at least capacity of 20 pax. 

Training dates: 

The Event is tentatively scheduled for Mid-February 2023

  Payment Terms 

• The contractor will be paid on a lump sum basis as per agreed per assignment.
