Ma3an is a five-year (2018-2023) youth-focused project – funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that aims to increase youth participation in civic and political life, address youth grievances, and prevent radicalization in vulnerable communities. Ma3an’s objectives are to equip youth with the skills to engage in civic action to address their communities’ needs and grievances through positive youth development (PYD) and enhance Tunisian capabilities to prevent and counter violent extremism (P/CVE).
Ma3a project implementing a community support activity in Thelepte, the intervention is in close collaboration with local stakeholders to modernize and equip youth center of Thelepte with the necessary equipment to foster youth’s engagement in cultural and sports activities, address their vulnerabilities and drive them away from violence and radicalization through providing spaces for art performances, leisure and sports activities and a space for expression and countering violence narratives
The expert will lead the development and facilitation of 4 days of recording studio equipment, sound editing and audiovisual equipment training of trainers in Thelepte
Ma3an will organize 4 days of use of recording studio equipment, sound editing training and audiovisual equipment training of trainer. The training targets a group of 15 to 20 participants.
