Expert in cultural and creative industries-BUSINESSMED Retour vers les opportunités

BUSINESSMED, a member of the consortium of the project CREACT4MED “promoting cultural and creative industries (CCIs)“, is currently seeking an expert in business analysis with a robust background in market research, specifically within CCIs in the MENA region.

The selected expert will be tasked with preparing a policy recommendation document, following interviews with representatives from the private sector in the region along with young entrepreneurs identified for promotion as best practices. This document will serve as a roadmap contributing to the growth of cultural and creative entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean region.

Profile of the Expert

We are looking for an expert with the following qualifications and experience:

• Proven experience in business analysis, with a deep knowledge of the CCIs
• Ability to prepare comprehensive policy recommendation documents
• Proficiency in conducting interviews and qualitative analysis
• Capability to develop a roadmap to support cultural and creative entrepreneurship.

The working language will be English. Some interviews may be conducted in Arabic

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis and market research, specifically within the CCI
• Track record in preparing policy recommendation documents
• Proficiency in English and arabic.
• Familiarity with conducting interviews
• Excellent entrepreneurship skills
• Ability to develop a roadmap to support the growth of cultural and creative entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean region

The expert needs to provide a concrete road map for the development of CCIs from the perspective of private sectors and young entrepreneurs. We encourage qualified experts to apply and contribute to the sustainable economic development of the Mediterranean region.

Project Description:

CREACT4MED is a pioneering initiative funded by the EU through the EuropeAid Programme, dedicated to enhancing businesses within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). The project endeavors to provide extensive support to entrepreneurs, start-ups, and SMEs, with a mission to generate employment opportunities and promote sustainable economic growth in the Southern Mediterranean, with a specific emphasis on empowering young individuals and women.

Mission and Goals of the project

The mission and objectives of CREACT4MED encompass:

1. Boosting CCI Businesses: Enhancing the capacity of CCIs in the Southern Mediterranean to attract investments, create employment, and foster inclusive economic growth.
2. Empowering Entrepreneurs: Facilitating the growth and establishment of CCI businesses through tailored training and financing opportunities, especially targeting the empowerment of young people and women.
3. Establishing a Regional CCI Hub: Creating a collaborative platform bringing together stakeholders from North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe to strengthen networking, exchanges, and cooperation within the Mediterranean CCI sector.

CREACT4MED aims to drive impactful change, foster innovation, and contribute to the sustainable development of the Cultural and Creative Industries in the Mediterranean region.
