Internews is set to generate and circulate an informative toolkit designed to complement the screenings of the Media Literacy Campaign. This toolkit will serve as a resource for educators, facilitators, and trainers, aiding them in sparking discussions and tackling the fundamental educational concepts woven into each episode. Contained within the user guide are an array of deliberation topics, prompts for debates, and assorted interactive engagements. The goal is to build critical thinking skills in analyzing media messages and representations.
The series explores important societal issues and themes through the characters’ experiences, including gender roles, generational divides, social class, and more. For the toolkit development, the consultant will use the Familia Grande episodes as the core content and reference point for developing discussion guides, handouts, and activities aimed at building critical analysis skills.
