Description of the Project:

Democracy Reporting International (DRI) has established a project in Tunisia to support CSOs and political activists with reagrds to questions on the political transition. The project “Support for Constitutional Impelmentation in Tunisia) aims to support their capacity and to develop and respond to the challenges of the process of transition, focusing on electoral reform, electoral observation and the process of developing a constitution. The project is financed by the Swiss and German governments.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist  with the activities for the DRI prgramme in Tunisia, in particular with the support of Civil Society Organisations (CSO)
• Assist the Expert on Civil Society with: -Following the developments and activities of the CSOs. – Maintain regular contact with the DRI partners. -Follow the formation and establishment of new NGOs. – Propose ways to continue cooperation with these CSOs
• Facilitate seminars and events
• Assist with file maintenance
• Assist with development of the website
