Overall purpose of the role: To provide technical support for all activities under the emergency department, including distribution of Non-food items and cash. This will require close liaison with local partners and a strong component of oversight and capacity-building
Responsibilities:
Planning
- Assist in the identification of beneficiaries, design and implementation of vulnerability criteria
 
- Lead on discussions with target populations and implementing partners
 
- Monitor the process of registration by implementing partners
 
- Lead of mentoring implementing partners on key concepts of vulnerability and  targeting
 
 
Emergency response
- Oversee distribution of non-food items in foyers and in host communities
 
- Oversee cash distributions by implementing partners in host communities
 
- Ensure protection mainstreaming throughout distributions, including set-up of complaints desks and referrals to protection teams
 
- Support implementing partners on follow up of complaints and improving future distributions Lead on coordination between centre management organizations, implementing partners, local authorities and suppliers
 
Reporting
- Support implementing partners in the set up and maintenance of beneficiary databases
 
- Ensure confidentiality of beneficiary data and adherence to information sharing protocols
 
- Support M&E teams on the set-up on complaints and feedback mechanisms
 
- Prepare project briefs, reports and presentations as required
 
Partnership
- Follow up partnerships’ implementation
 
- Support partners when necessary for the elaboration of budgets, activity plans and reports
 
- Lead on capacity building needs identification
 
- Oversight of implementation activities through partnerships to ensure compliance
 
Experience and technical competencies: (include years of experience)
- Minimum of five years professional experience working in field operational contexts
 
- Prior experience with international development organizations and mixed migration populations highly desirable
 
Education: (include certificates, licenses etc.)
- Degree in a relevant field

- Fluency in French, English and Arabic.
