1. Context

Ifrikya Center for Common Ground (ICCG) is a Tunisian non-profit organization dedicated to promoting social cohesion and economic inclusion through conflict transformation. ICCG aims to foster a culture of dialogue and diversity, particularly among youth, by enhancing their employability and resilience to address socio-economic grievances. As part of its efforts, ICCG is leading the “Pathways to Employment and Resilience” project, which targets youth in Tunisia and aims to equip them with the necessary capacity building in digital and non-digital skills to ensure their economic inclusion and reintegration in the labor market. This project is funded by the European Union and Hedayah and implemented in collaboration with key partners, including Moughayroun.

Under this initiative, selected youth who have received training on specific digital skills will apply their acquired knowledge by designing creative and digital products. These products will promote positive messages about the digital space, its employment potential, and counter extremist propaganda and misinformation related to opportunities for employment. This initiative will facilitate knowledge-sharing within local communities and empower youth to become key actors in spreading positive narratives.

ICCG and Moughayroun will provide technical support and access to an established studio for content production. The dissemination of the produced content will be managed via ICCG’s TWIZZ platform and Moughayroun’s Facebook page to maximize visibility and impact. To ensure high-quality production, ICCG seeks the expertise of an Expert Consultant on Content Production to provide technical assistance and mentorship throughout the process.

2. Objectives of the Consultancy

The consultant will:

– Mentor and guide the five selected youth in producing digital content that promotes positive online engagement and counter-narratives.

– Provide technical assistance in content production, including concept development, scripting, editing, and finalizing digital products.

– Ensure that the produced content aligns with ICCG’s objectives, including economic empowerment, employability skills, and countering extremist narratives.

– Incorporate elements of the developed curriculum into the content to ensure knowledge dissemination to a broader audience.

– Support the use of ICCG’s and Moughayroun’s studio for content production, ensuring efficient and high-quality outputs.

–  Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance the content creation process and future initiatives.

3. Scope of Work

The consultant will be responsible for:

– Assisting youth in conceptualizing and designing their digital products.

– Providing technical support in filming, editing, and post-production.

– Offering guidance on storytelling techniques, visual aesthetics, and digital marketing strategies to maximize content impact.

– Ensuring that the produced content is suitable for dissemination on TWIZZ and other social media platforms.

– Conducting regular check-ins with the youth to address challenges and provide strategic direction.

4. Deliverables

The consultant is expected to deliver:

– A work plan outlining the mentoring approach and production phases.

– A minimum of five digital products co-created with the youth.

– Technical feedback and recommendations for each digital product.

– A final report summarizing achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future content production initiatives.

5. Duration and Timeline

– The consultancy will take place over a period of 10working days.

– The consultant will work closely with the selected youth throughout the production phase.

– The final report must be submitted at the end of the contract period.

6. Required Qualifications

– Proven experience in digital content creation, video production, and multimedia storytelling.

– Strong knowledge of digital platforms, including social media and online engagement strategies.

– Experience mentoring youth in content production, particularly in social impact initiatives is desirable.

– General understanding of counter-narrative strategies and digital peacebuilding approaches.

– Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and provide constructive feedback.
