the receipt of offers, unless another time is specified in the addendum of the RFP.Background

USAID Ma3an is a five-year (2018-2023) USAID-funded project implemented by FHI360 with the

goal to increase youth participation in civic and political life, address youth grievances, and

prevent radicalization in Tunisian communities vulnerable to violent extremism.

Scope of Work

This consultancy assists the Ma3an team in designing and maintaining a robust

communications system to report project achievements and outcomes. The consultant will

develop, write, and edit in excellent English and Arabic the content material for various

platforms and outlets, including social media. The consultant will assist the Ma3an team prepare

a strategy for how to best utilize social media platforms for content dissemination. The consultant reports to the Ma3an Chief of Party.

Specific deliverables include

• Task Number (1): Provide a weekly summary newsletter of project achievements or highlights (document delivered weekly for total of 8 documents)
• Deliverables: weekly for total of 8 documents
• Frequency: Weekly
• Total of Deliverables: weekly for total of 8 documents

• Task Number (2): Preparation and posting of social media posts including highlights of Ma3an activities
• Deliverables: 5 social media posts per week
• Frequency: Weekly
• Total of Deliverables: 5 social media posts

• Task Number (3): Review 20 CSO partner Facebook pages for posting additional content on Ma3an Facebook page.
• Deliverables: Weekly Review
• Frequency: Weekly
• Total of Deliverables: 8 reviews

• Task Number (4): Review and provide feedback to Ma3an’s technical monitor on digital communication products for social media platforms prepared by 2 communications service providers.
• Deliverables: 8 weekly coordination meetings and 4 bi-weekly reports

Location of Work: Tunis

Travel: No travel outside of greater Tunis is expected.

Qualifications

•Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (writing tests will be

administered).

• Proven track record of producing high quality written products for various types of

audiences, especially international donors.

• Comprehensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures with social network

pages, for internal and external communications.

• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop.

• Excellent project management skills.

• Strong organizational skills and is creative, innovative, and detail oriented.

• Ability to motivate, influence and collaborate with others.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage projects effectively to accomplish goals
